About Vestival
This year's Vestival will be on 5th March and will be held at Armada Way, Plymouth. Vestival is part of the Vinvolved project set up by the charity V. Working with community and voluntary organisations Vinvolved aims to create new volunteering opportunities for young people in their local area. The target age group is 16-25 year olds but the charities at Vestival welcome volunteers of all ages. Every local area has a Youth Action Team (YAT), made up of young volunteers who advise Vinvolved teams and get involved with the work they do.

V
V, the national young volunteers service, is an independent charity dedicated to helping young people volunteer in ways that matter to them. Its mission is to make volunteering opportunities so diverse, compelling and easy to get involved with that giving up your time to help others becomes a natural lifestyle choice. Since its launch in May 2006, V has worked with over 500 charities and community organisations to create over 900,000 youth volunteering opportunities. Of these, 467,000 are short term or taster opportunities, 421,000 are part time, and 20,000 are full time. Over 400,000 of these have already been taken up, with the rest being offered to young people up to March 2011.
